BATHURST, NB - With the success of last year’s program, Medavie HealthEd is pleased to return to Bathurst, New Brunswick, to offer a French paramedic training program in the community.

“At Medavie HealthEd, our professional programs are focused on the student experience,” said Charbel Daniel, Business Development Manager with Medavie HealthEd. “Our goal is to provide students with the tools and training that will allow them to develop the skills they need to make an important difference in the community, by helping others during their time of need.”

In September 2015, Medavie HealthEd in partnership with Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick, will be offering the program at its satellite campus located in Bathurst. With employment opportunities for a rewarding career, students have the opportunity to become a frontline health care provider in the area within 44 weeks of training – offering innovative classroom learnings and on the job training.

“We are excited to return to the region and feel extremely grateful for the program interest and community support,” said Daniel. “With the support of our local government partners and CCNB, students will develop the skills they need to start a career in paramedicine with the chance to work close to home.”

“As educators, any endeavours that will bring opportunities to youth in the area where they can both become educated and seek employment is important,” said Paolo Fongemie, Director, Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick, Bathurst campus. “As a first-rate francophone post-secondary learning institution, we are extremely pleased to host the French PCP course at CCNB.”

The successful launch and delivery of last year’s program has generated demand in the area for a second program
