Mobile Mental Health Response Service — Prince Edward Island

In partnership with the Government of Prince Edward Island, through the Department of Health and Wellness, Medavie Health Services has launched a new Mobile Mental Health Response Service within the province. The program will provide a community-focused response to Islanders experiencing a mental health issue, ensuring they receive the support and care they require from a specialized care team.

Several positions are available for interested registered nurses and social workers to support individuals in crisis requiring de-escalation, mental health and risk assessments, and coordination of care and supports in the community.

The successful candidates will work collaboratively with other interdisciplinary service providers such as, but not limited to, Community Mental Health, Primary Care, Psychiatry, EMS, justice, victims services, child and family services, and police services.

All applicants must be registered and in good standing with their licensing association.
