Reporting to the Team Lead, IT Infrastructure Team, the SharePoint Administrator will administer, manage, and provide technical and administrative advice and support to staff and continue to develop our SharePoint environment. You will work with the SharePoint enterprise architect and business owners to create sites, manage permissions, troubleshoot various situations, perform SharePoint updates, coordinate server maintenance, and work with teams in IT to ensure a stable SharePoint service. Additionally, this position is responsible for recommending customized solutions that meets each departments requirement to ensure a successful adoption of our new online world. This position requires strong technical, quality assurance, analytical, documentation and relationship skills, time management, multitasking, process orientation and an inquisitive ‘can do’ attitude.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • maintaining the SharePoint
  • managing List Thresholds;
  • managing Tenant Subscriptions;
  • managing SharePoint Farm Setup and Configuration;
  • installing third party software on the farm;
  • monitoring SharePoint Farm Health including troubleshooting farm level problems and applying solutions;
  • supporting deployment of Software Applications;
  • creating, configuring and deleting Web Applications, Site Collections and Service Applications;
  • assist with SharePoint upgrade and migrations;
  • managing SharePoint Permissions;
  • maintaining and revising the layout of the site;
  • customizing the SharePoint site for company purpose;
  • reporting to the business owners with updates and information about SharePoint use;
  • providing technical support to the end users;
  • addressing questions and concerns from business owners; and
  • any other duties as assigned.

As the ideal candidate for this position, you:

  • successfully completed a post-secondary education, preferably in an IT related program;
  • have at least three years' experience as a SharePoint administrator;
  • possess extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, Power Automate and Office 365;
  • have knowledge of SharePoint tools, including workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks;
  • possess superb collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills;
  • have advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • possess excellent organizational and time-management skills; and
  • are Office365/SharePoint such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Security Administration, Power Platform App Maker Associate certified.
