Chief Craig Jones has been appointed as the new Paramedic Chief of Lennox and Addington Paramedic Services.

“I would like to welcome Chief Jones to Lennox and Addington County” said Warden John Wise. “We are planning some exciting initiatives in Paramedic Services and are very lucky to have someone with his level of experience and expertise to lead them.”

Most recently working for Peterborough Paramedic Services, Chief Jones brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of exemplary service in the field of emergency medical services.

“I am thrilled to be the new Chief of Lennox and Addington Paramedics” said Chief Jones. “I am excited to be leading this team and am committed to fostering a positive work environment for our staff. I believe that clear and open communication is vital in any organization, and I am dedicated to ensuring that lines of communication are always open between myself and the team. I am looking forward to working together to achieve our goals and make a positive impact in our community.”

Chief Jones’ passion for mental health and well-being is particularly noteworthy, as evidenced by his efforts to establish community paramedic teams and support individuals struggling with substance use and addiction. His leadership in responding to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic further underscores his unwavering commitment to public health and safety.
